01:06 a.m.| Yes! Yes! After years of searching and wondering, I have finally found that book! *glows happily (despite the rash on my cheek)* It's Letters from Atlantis by Robert Silverberg. I read the book in 7th or 8th grade and I forgot about it until a few years later. Of course, I couldn't remember the title...barely could remember what it was about, but I suddenly got this itch to read it again. I had read it waaay too fast back then and for some reason I couldn't really understand what the heck was going on (I think I was too young er stupid lol). So I just HAD to know! And now I finally know! I'll get around to buying it sometime...maybe I'll download the audio version since it's cheapest ^^a. Ahh, finally. You know how it is...when something nags at you and it irritates you and remains in the back of your mind for awhile. Cheers for amazon and the internet. XD
I went to the dermatologist for my monthly treatment. I had 2 zits on the side of my forehead (from stress I bet dem). The rash is b/c the nurse that did my treatment was rather brisk! Glycolic acid already hurts like a mofo---there's no need to rub that hard lady. T_T Eesh.
I sat in the waiting room for about half an hour. Actually ended sleeping cuz of their comfy leather couch. It was too big for me since the only way my feet could reach the ground was to end up half laying down on my back lol. They had the TV on CNN. *sneers* Puh-lease. So clearly biased! My dad said that when the humanitarians came to deliver food, etc. to the Iraqis, CNN reported that barely a few people came. The reality, however, was they were overwhelmed w/people. Some of them were so hungry they just opened the box right then and there and ate. -_- (Mr. I-am-worse-than-the-lowest-worm-Hussein had shut all electricity and water before he left Baghdad that bastard).... uh, yeah. Report the truth CNN! MTV too! They're completely brainwashing the young of America. When the war first started, I switched over to MTV for a sec to see what they had to say and Gideon Yago (hmmm who I had a dream about over Xmas brk) was saying, "Bush is trying...attempting..." in this skeptical voice. Geeze, can you make it anymore obvious. XP So Fox News all the way! Me'n my dad are thinking about getting an O'Reilly Factor T-shirt lol. Bill's cool ('cept every time I see him, I think "Gah, he looks exactly like Maur! (my ex-chem partner in 10th grade) Hmm. Did any of us ever call him by his first name...?), but my fave reporter is Shepard Smith. He always cracks me up cuz sometimes he'll slip into this dry humorous voice and make some sarcastic comments. I remember on 9/11 he reported all day from morning 'til night. I came back from class and the poor man's face was literally ASHEN. Before that, I had never seen someone's face actuall look gray. (eh? Where am I going w/all this??? *scratches head* Just lost my train of thought...uhhhh... @.@ These shooting pains behind my ears aren't really helping. Geeze.)...
Hmm...Oh I bet a lot of people have seen this, but last week they were showing this on the news last week. My mom, dad, and I couldn't stop laughing. The soldiers were tearing down this huge billboard/poster of Saddam and this Iraqi man jumped up. He had his shoe in hand and started to gleefully smack Saddam's face with it. When he turned around, he was grinning widely and any idiot could see how much fun that was lol. Turns out, in the Middle East it's a MAJOR insult to show someone the bottom of your shoe---the equivalent of the middle finger. Cuz if you show someone the bottom of your shoe, your tellin' the other person that you should be stepped on (to put it vaguely). So you can see the significance of that shoe-smackin gesture, eh? I'm laughing just picturing his face when he turned around hehe.
Ok...back to studying. Dangit. (who exactly is Renee? And remember that book we were talkin' bout at lunch on Friday? I had bought the same exact one as that guy---so I gotta get another one. ^^;;;;;;; )

On a happier note, you don't have to have a 3.7 to keep a scholarship! Ohhhh baby! You only need a 3.0! BOOYAH! Soooo, I can finish this year out pretty well anyways. I AM SO HAPPY!

12:39 a.m.| EXTASY!!!
I FINALLY! FINALLY KILLED THAT NASTY NASTY FLY!!!!!!!!!!! *does JinuSean's "Malhehjoh" dance* *breaks out the Cristal* (if only I really had some...I would definitely be getting drunk instead of studying and battling flies)
You see *wipes sweat from forehead* Last night this monstrously big fly buzzed its yucky self into the study as I was...studying. 'Twas around 4AM and I jumped up w/a small yelp (since my parents were sleeping). A fly! A fly! My mind cried out. eeeEEEEeeeeeeee~ So I tried to dodge the Evil One who kept trying to ram its ugly furry body into my poor scholarly (i.e. badly out-of-shape) body. About 10 minutes passed before I bravely got a magazine to try and swat it to death. But, alas, the Evil One was too quick and I spent about half an hour leaping about the room trying to kill the Evil One, all the while squealing with girlish fright when it came too near. LOL ok, I'm laughing too hard...Anyway, I really was leaping about waving the magazine, cursing, laughing, and getting dizzy since I had to keep looking up to keep my eye on it and at the same time run around. Whew. Anyway, it finally trapped itself inside the shutters. I slammed them shut, cackling, and went to bed. This morning I opened them, ready to do battle again...but it wouldn't come out so I started studying. Went into my parents room and discovered it flying in THERE so I ran and got my magazine, jumped and ran around for a few minutes before I said screw it...
Then about half an hour ago, it came buzzing into the room and flew straight into my HAIR! Ugh! So I leapt up (lots of leaping in this tale), got the magazine, and tried to swat it...but I wasn't fast enough. I ran into the kitchen and got our dilapidated fly swatter. Ah, the blessed thing. 10 minutes later, V-I-C-T-O-R-Y! The swatter connected with a gratifying smack and the fly lay stunned on the ground. With two paper towels and great satisfaction, I blissfully ground the thing with all my might and tossed it into the trash can.
*cackles* Yes, this is the most exciting thing that has happened to me in awhile. Yes, I am a loser---and I'm hella bored. (now, next mission: Operation Rape Gackt! Oh ho ho ho!)

01:41 p.m.| Long time no post! Nothing much goin' on...um, I got a 20/20 on my choir exam! Yea~~~~~ So I'm doin' pretty well in that class. *phew* Studying for my Data Structures exam next week...OMG, Sakura when's the Sigur Ros concert? The date for my exam changed to April 3rd. T_T
And yes, life sucks. (Although, it would suck a little less if we were filthy stinkin', I'm-gonna-wipe-my-ass-with-00-bills rich!) I waaaaaant the new Louis Vuitton purses and that bloody umbrella and the bandanas too lol! They're so cute! You gotta go look at it (click on summer 2003 collction). The purses that I like the most are the Monogram Multicolore Mini HL and the Cherry Blossom Papillon. *________________* Oh~ and I like the Cherry Blossom Porte-Tresor International...and the Cherry Blossom Accessories Pouch...and they're leather cuffs are sooooooooo kyute too~ I'm such a nerd---I go to the website and look at this stuff everyday...T_T (I've never felt this way about purses before lmao. Anyway, this summer I have to go to Austin to do this internship thing, and I was wondering if you'd like to go to hang out with your friends! It's the next best thing to Tokyo, I guess *glum*. But nevertheless, it's a roadtrip (or even a plane trip ^___^v), and I think it would be fun... Maybe we could even rent our own apartment or hotel room. *glee*
Oh yeah, guess wut, though. That girl to whom I lent the Kodocha manga...she wrecked the third one...I'm not EVEN going to offer to let her borrow Marmalade Boy. I'm deeply saddened...I trusted her with it so much, and it's...it's...well the COVER is bent it TWO PLACES!! And...and the BACK SIDE!!! It's got engraved dots, where some pencil must have poked into it several times! Geez, I'm so disappointed, I couldn't even tell her. I just took the manga and left. Well, it was only ...I guess I shouldn't make a big deal of it... But it's really one of my favorite mangas...

10:58 a.m.| Seriously, guys, I'm so busy 24/7...well...probably not, 'cause I've surely slacked off a whole lot these past few days... But guess what...next Friday, the day before my Spring Break, I have FOUR Quarter tests...PreAP Spanish, AP Biology, AP Biology Lab, and Advanced Algebra (II)--four of my most difficult classes--o WAIT, what class ISN'T difficult -___-. Well, the Wednesday before that I have a big big big Math project due...and then...the Monday before that I have a quiz and a test (damn you, Biology!)... And on Thursday, I have that goddamn College Planning Meeting with my parents and my counselor, who I love, but I'll be damned... Usually I'd order all of that chronologically, but if you think about it, I guess it all came according to priority ^__^v. Anyway, I have a whole 1/2 semester worth of homework to catch up on in Biology, so I'm not going anywhere this weekend.
You know, I think it was the day before yesterday...I had the wrost fight with my mother. And this always happens. She'll disagree with me on some stupid political topic, because she misunderstands me, and then we end up yelling until she threatens to break my jaw for all my sass <--which NEVER happens, like...once in a blue moon (my sass). Well, I cried like a baby, I was so upset, but it's all good now. We just stopped talking to each other and started up again an hour later. Lol...I hate life.
Haha, well it really is funny when you think about it. And I guueeesss I love my mommie. Hey, good luck with the critique today Ayame!! 11:45 p.m.| Yea~~~~ I'm done! And the pix look so nice thanks to my models. ^_~ I would've finished earlier but I had these DAMNED pieces of dust on the negative and it kept getting on to the pictures when I exposed the negative. So I ended developing one pic like 10 times...Guess I shouldn't complain tho. After all, I AM sitting here, instead of there in the darkroom with about half of the class. *cackles* Speaking of the darkroom. The other week when Ester was here, this girl was talking smack about us. We were supposedly really loud (ok so we were kinda loud but not THAT loud!) Anyway, it cracks me up because no one realized Ester was sitting in the darkroom hearing everything tee hee.
..................................Also, the other photography prof is so HOT! Even though he's old (40?), he's really um goodlooking, so niiiiiice, has this pleasant voice...*_* The other time, he came to check on us and gave us his phone # just in case we had an emergency. Tonight, he came to check on the developer again, which turned out to be really low so w/the amount of ppl there, the machine would've run out and there would've been a lot of cursing and crying hehe. Our own prof never once came to check on us. -_- So as we were leaving, I thanked him for helping us, but when I looked over he was mixing the chemicals and wearing this huge gas mask haha!
It was pretty fun developing today tho. A lot of running into each other, running into WALLS, tripping over this one stool, being polite (no one seemed to be goofing off...'cept for me ^^), and getting spooked (the printing room is sooooooo scary! Pitch black w/this loud machine and as soon as you put a print in, it makes this sound that sounds exactly like a girl talking softly. The first time I heard it, my heart friggin' stopped).
Ah, yes. I just love writing about nothing hehe. Hey Tetsuya, I say we take a class w/this other professor!!!! ^^ The pix are kinda autographed already, right? Has my writing on the back lol. Anyway, the photographer doesn't sign the pic! The star does. ^_^

12:01 a.m.| I'm dooooooooone! With just 6 minutes left to my deadline! *sweats* I had to take, you know, defensive driving...and boy, it's so scary thinking bout all the things that could happen. I mean, geeze! They keep telling you to "always think the worst". -_- I used digitaldriving.com btw...It's ok. Their videos have all these celebrity cameos (MC Hammer, Phil Donahue, one of the Golden Girls, the ditsy girl from Fresh Prince). Even the crash test dummies! Does anyone remember them?? That was pretty cool. My big and I mean big gripe is that they're "tech" support SUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSS LEMONS! I had to wait 45 minutes. I left my home phone connected and, at the same time, tried to get through w/my cel phone. I was soooo friggin' pissed b/c I was afraid I wouldn't make it before midnight. I had the meanest comments all lined up, but I prayed...and I said, I would be nice lol. Like 5 minutes after I prayed, I FINALLY got through. Oh yeah. So first of all, the dumb reason I even had to call them was I had answered just a review question wrong and they locked the chapters so I couldn't do anything. Which was really dumb b/c the tech support guy (who, strange enuf, sounded uh really cute and was very nice) just asked me the same question---that I still got wrong! It's not my fault I kept falling asleep!

04:10 p.m.| YAY, it's Ayu again! It's also another snow day! ^___^ Isn't this the best? This way, students really win. Because the school always arranges for there to be an "inclement weather day," so that if we miss a day of school, it will be made up by that "inclement weather day." Fortunately for us *smiles*, we got TWO, count em TWO, days off--not just one. And school was also dismissed 45 minutes early on Monday! Yipppeeeee...
Of course, staying at home isn't what's made me so joyful. In fact, the real reason is that I've got an English essay due--one that I've done ohhhhhhh FIVE DRAFTS for, and failed EACH time. And these two extra days of being able to work solely on this paper has been such a boon to me.

Anyway, Ayame, I think it'd be a great idea to watch Shanghai Knights! But I think Sunday did count...*gloom*. Anyway, my parents would say "it's too soon," I think... At this point...they'd say...maybe we can go for an afternoon of shopping...or...a quickie sort of thing. But that's it. It's just a guess, though.
Oh hey, I was playing "Hearts" today, on my laptop, and I guess last year or something, I replaced the other players' names with "Hayato -__^," "Hisashi *___*," and "Gackt -___-." Haha, and when I played, I was "Kimmie ^___^." Their computer faces suit their personality so well, that I actually blushed when I won! Haha, Gackt really sucks at the game, but Hisashi is good, and Hayato is tricky--makes sense, huh? Haha...yeah...this whole post makes me sound like an ass.

09:58 p.m.| Yeah yeah it's below 30. So cold! and snowing(kinda)! Yeah! *does macarena* Went to tutor and after that eat at Pappadeaux w/Chu Tu's family and Minh. I was so surprised they still wanted to eat...I mean, it was nasty weather out there hehe. Anyway, earlier today my windshield wipers had been frozen to my windshield. I thought that it had defrosted enough, but...obviously not...because the blades got ripped off. ^^;;;;; Yeah, so my terribly old and debilitated wipers got further mutilated. It made for a very tough time driving home...since the sleet just got smeared all over the window. So there I was, going 25-30mph on the highway, gripping the steering wheel, and sitting as straight as possible so I could peer out...then I look over to see Minh asleep! Geeze. ^^a He was driving my car at first (I'm glad I did instead), but then he was all wussily saying, "I can't see a thing" (which was the truth considering my lame wipers) so I drove b/c my dad didn't want us to leave my car parked somewhere.
Hmm. I don't know why I just wrote all that. But since I actually wasted time to write it, I refuse to delete it b/c it would be even MORE wasteful. Yup.
Hey Tetsuya. So every two weeks means you can't see Michihiru this weekend right? (I'm not being dumb---tho I can be---I'm not sure if yesterday counted or not hehe. If not maybe we can go watch Shanghai Knights this weekend!) I kinda wanted to watch Daredevil, but ew Ben Afleck's in it and then I heard it was some super sappy plotless love crap (should've known, they opened on Vday after all) and they totally ruined Daredevil . Stan Lee, you sell out. *grumbles* Ahhhh, the vocalist from Evanescence sounds so much like Utada Hikaru it's SCARY!!!!!!!!! Even though the way they harmonize is like her. I like their music, but it's just so weird. O.o Okie gonna go study now. I shouldn't have gone out to eat today. T_T

I was at school until 3am last night. That was certainly a first. O.o Had to print pictures for my photography project, which was due this morning. Ester came up from Austin...in fact, she's sleeping in my room right now. We didn't go to sleep until 7:30am (it was light outide too) so I only got 1 hour of sleep since I had to get up and shower and get ready for class at 8:30. My project stinks. Sigh. It was Anne's bday on Friday so she came over. Before she came, I was madly cleaning up my room and bathroom, which was INCREDIBLY, DISGUSTINGLY dirty. We were gonna go eat out, but figured it would be a pain to go to a real restaurant so we just went to Sonics lol. After that, Anne and I saw Shanghai Knights. You should've come, Sakura! Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson are soooooooo funny! ^_^ I couldn't stop laughing. When we came out of the theater, my voice was actually hoarse! ...I think it's cuz Anne laughs really freely (and loudly) so I get to be very free also. Well, uh I think I do that all the time anyway. I remember when I watched Shrek, I was like the only one laughing at parts. XD I wanna watch the movie again!

You stink, you midden pile, you! I'll neeever forgive you! XP Hmmm. Oh yeah, I haven't looked at the pix I took that day. Anne and I dressed up...only to see some guy in a polo shirt! I was like, "HEY!!!! I COULD'VE WORN MY PANTS!" Hehe but it was ok, b/c I found a nice dress that fits. Anne and I both sported fake flower chokers tied w/ "silk" ribbons (which cost, together, 82 cents) from Hobby Lobby tee hee! Anne's wine colored flower was from a stalk of orchids and my pink rose was from...the vase in the guest room (which I need to reattach, actually. I left the flower in your room Ayu ^^). It was so funny! While I was driving I tugged on the flower and I guessed I tugged a little too hard and too much (hey! it was damn itchy!) b/c the flower came off of the leaves (I safety pinned it to the ribbon). Anne said I had the most horrified, shocked face lol. So drove to the Galleria and parked all the way in the basement lot so had to walk through the c-cold. It was pretty weird walking through the mall dressed up, too. I've never, ever gone to the mall dressed up so...We felt pretty weird and conspicuous lol.
*ahem* yeah, so...The food was aite. Loved the bread and the salad. Um. But you guys need a better DJ! 0? We could do a better job! ^_~ I asked him to play that Party Up in Here song, but he said he didn't have a clean version (c'mon, it's ok! live! be lively!) Oh but, overall, it was fun. Anne said she hasn't danced in public for years hehe.

12:49 a.m.| First person I saw today was Tetsuya! ^_^ It was fun eating at la Madaleine and getting toasted by that too-close fireplace. I'm glad you like the book hehe. ^_____^
And guess what? I got a facial today courtesy of Clarins---for free. Ah, free. That beautiful, beautiful word. ^^ So my face feels great. My eyes feel dry. And I am tiiiired. Oh and I also got these really, really cute red mittens from GAP for .99. ^___^ I love mittens.
It's raaaaining too. So nice. Except when my umbrella kept ALMOST turning upside down. It's so embarrassing when that happens. In my class today, we discussed some pretty interesting tactics that microsoft and other big corporations used. Very, interesting. -_- He used to work for an Australian airline co. and he came up w/the tactic that they would be able to check the availability of seats on other airlines. If all seats were sold, then they would jack up the price and people had no choice but to buy theirs. Isn't that evil? (the CEOs decided that was unethical and killed that plan tho. ^^) See? I DO listen in class. Sometimes. At one point, he said, "Let's take Palm Pilots---" My friend and I both straightened at the same time b/c we thought he was gonna say, "Let's take a break." After that, we couldn't stop laughing. I had been tuning out until I heard those words lol.
Let's see...oh yeah and I went out to watch a movie w/one of old friends last night cuz she's leaving to go to army training next week. Her life is so...sad. She has so many hardships it's so...DEPRESSING. One thing after the other. I used to treat her like crap when we were little. -_- I feel AWFUL and I told her last night. (But, MAN!!!!~ was she annoying!)(sorry I just had to get that out). We got into this theological debate about lots of stuff. She takes religion so literally...everything has to be explained and have logical reasoning. No way, man. We have to accept God w/our hearts and not just our minds! ^______^
Been listening to Silverchair only for the past week hehe. I like 'em a lot. I downloaded some vdos of them, too. The thing that I love about rock music is, I loooooove watching live performances the best. It's so interesting. How could I EEEVER think that those choreographed dance moves of pop ppls were so riveting. HOw?! Anyway, the more I see Daniel Johns (vocal), the more I think of how many jrockers are anorexic. ESPECIALLY Shinya of Dir en Grey. He IS. You can definitely tell in that one pic of him w/out his shirt on. o.o
I have this one vdo of Silverchair performing Ana's Song a few years back and geeeeeze. Daniel's skinnier than even those runway models...a small gust of wind could knock him down! And I thought he was really, really short (like 5'2"-5'6") b/c his arms, his waist, his shoulders, his legs---they all looked so small. He looked like a freakin' middle-schooler. BUT HE'S 5'10"! eEEEeeeek. T_T *sigh* Well, now he's put on a lil more weight...like 4.00124531411001 lbs. -_- I hope if you know someone that you suspect of having an eating disorder, you'll help them right away as best as you can. 10:43 p.m.| My choir class was today. I could hit the notes this time! My friend said it was probably b/c I was sick (not that that makes any sense lol). Yes, I had a fever. A fever! For the first time in nearly 4 years. XD And as I was coming out of my car after class, the door fell back and whacked me on the head!!! Yes, on the head!!! Also, as I was sleepily driving to class, I found myself on the wrong side of the road and driving in 2 lanes at the same time! Yes, two lanes! At the same time!!!
